My dreams of being Cher Horowitz were finally realized with this plaid yellow skirt from H&M.

If I were really being honest with myself, I would have site Clueless as a large influencer of my personal style. I am a sucker for over the knee socks and tiny Calvin Klein dresses. As a twelve year old, I even took polaroids of my favorite outfits in a poor attempt of recreating Cher's closet. I will have a 'smart closest' one day, one day.

A lil suede & a lil leather.  

No animals were harmed in the process.

Did it suddenly turn into summer? No, I just have been blasting the heat all day in protest of freezing winter weather. And thanks to a little bit of photoshop I even have a fake tan.

Anyways, top is from Next. Pants from Forever21. Belt was found in our new house and I decided to give it a home. Shoes from Marshals. Absolute budget outfit.

Supermodel Me

I've always loved shadows from your body that the sun casts on the floor. I have memories of being a little girl dancing around with me shadow to see how I moved. My shadow was my dance partner.  Plus depending on the time of day, your shadow is like a trick mirror from the fair. I snapped this pic on a sunny morning in Manchester. Can you believe it! Sun. In. Manchester. Anyways my shadow made my dreams come true of having super model long legs.

My attempt

Here are some shots of what I wore. Inspired by my previous post on the seventies... You can't really get more seventies that orange and brown. For most the day I wore a light pink blouse but I think the white tank actually worked better.

I am often very uncomfortable with mixing brown and black together. I've always been told that you can either wear black or brown, not both. But I decided to see what brown shorts looked like with black tights. What do you think? Is this a rule worth breaking?
